1. General Policy

All donations and membership contributions to the Cryonics Initiative are considered final and non-refundable. As a nonprofit movement committed to public legitimacy and ethical stewardship, we allocate funds immediately toward cryopreservation access, outreach, and infrastructure.

2. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds may be considered only in cases of:

• Duplicate transactions

• Technical errors during payment processing

• Unauthorized charges

To request a refund under these conditions, please contact us within 14 days of the transaction at:
refunds@cryonics-initiative.org

We will review each request with care and respond within 5 business days.

3. Event Registrations

If the Initiative hosts paid events, cancellation and refund terms will be clearly stated on the event page. Unless otherwise noted, event fees are non-refundable.

4. Symbolic Contributions

Some campaigns may include symbolic gifts or acknowledgments. These are not commercial purchases and hold no monetary value. Refunds will not be issued for symbolic tiers or recognition items.

5. Tax Considerations

Refunded donations may affect your eligibility for tax deductions. Please consult a tax advisor if applicable.
